Launched in 2013 by New York fashion photographer Randall Bachner; slow fashion label Marrakshi Life takes key style elements from the traditional Moroccan wardrobe and reworks them for contemporary life. Its designs are cut and sewn by an in-house team of local artisans in its Marrakesh atelier using age-old practices to hand-weave raw cotton on warp/ weft flatbed looms.The High Waisted Pleated Trouser is a wide leg; relaxed silhouette; handwoven from cotton yarns in the Marrakech Atelier. This pant is adorned with a fixed button waist and zip fly; side seam pockets; and pleats with an exaggerated wide leg.
