"I grew up around pomegranates - from their use as natural dyes on the antique rugs I used to crawl on as a baby to an integral ingredient in the food that I love. When I'm at my home in New Delhi, I wake each morning to the taste of fresh squeezed pomegranate juice. The color, the smell, the delicate flavor all make it feel like a magical elixir to me."

There is something so alluring about the billowy flowers and arching stems which feel contemporary, yet still utterly romantic."

"There are massive Monstera leaves coming off of vines and growing up the trees of my garden in New Delhi. They are wild and beautiful and oddly familiar since, of course, I grew up in suburbia with the requisite Philodendron plant in our family room, which is the domesticated version of the vine. I am always drawn to the beauty of the leaf as much for its scale and drama as I am to the negative spaces created by the 'holes' in its make-up."

The Wildflowers Collection is a celebration of often overlooked, disregarded, and underappreciated flowers. The inspiration for Wildflowers came from the discovery of a set of 19th century hand-tinted, botanical illustrations which, over time, had faded to muted, dusty tones. Touched by how beautifully each wildflower had been rendered in the antique drawings, Aram took great care to capture and recreate the naturalistic movement and gentle hues in hand-enameled and sculpted metal. Uncultivated by definition, wildflowers, as interpreted by Aram, reflect the ideal of "perfectly imperfect" and capture a sense of carefree innocence in the fleeting joyfulness of nature.
