The origins of the name, Almo Nature: "Almo" stems from Latin, meaning "soul," while "Nature" embodies the simplicity of our natural meat and fish ingredients, which are cooked to the same high standard as human food. Originating in 2000, our simple yet groundbreaking concept aimed to provide our beloved companions with the same quality meat and fish we enjoy. It was a resounding success because pets appreciate quality too. Eventually, our pet-centric approach to making pet food from the perspective our of furry friends led way to a larger vision of utilizing profits to safeguard our planet. In 2019, Almo Nature was donated to nonprofit organization, Fondazione Capellino (through a non-reversible process under Italian law), which came with a commitment to 100% of Almo Nature s profits towards biodiversity conservation
